In ARC Raiders, one of the most rewarding opportunities for high-tier loot appears during the Hurricane map condition. These special containers — known as Hurricane Secret Caches or First Wave Raider Caches — were introduced with the Shrouded Sky update and have quickly become a major target for experienced Raiders.
Unlike standard Raider Caches, these enhanced versions only spawn while a Hurricane event is active. Although they appear in the same locations as normal caches, the rewards inside are significantly better, making them one of the most profitable loot sources in the game.
Hurricane Secret Caches contain some of the best loot you can obtain during outdoor raids. Players frequently hunt these crates because they can drop, including ultra-rare purple blueprints like Tempest, Bobcat, and Volcano, as well as Level 4 weapons; premium heals, such as Vita Shots, Defibs, Sterilized Bandages; mods, such as Magnetic Accelerators, Exodus Modules; and 150,000 coins per run.
However, not every cache guarantees rare rewards. Blueprint drop rates are roughly 60%, meaning some runs may yield multiple blueprints while others may produce none. On average, players can expect to find one to seven blueprints per run when efficiently farming these caches.
When the event begins, players will hear a distinct security beep coming from the cache. Because the storm winds are extremely loud, this sound can be difficult to notice at first, but experienced players quickly learn to recognize it.
Visually, Hurricane caches are slightly larger than normal Raider Caches and emit a subtle glow, making them easier to spot during exploration.
Dam Battlegrounds Cache Locations

The Dam Battlegrounds contains more than 70 possible spawn points for Hurricane caches. Some of the most common areas include: West Broken Ridge, Power Generation Complex, The Dam, Red Lakes, Water Treatment, Electrical Substation, Old Battleground, Pale Apartments.
This map offers a balanced mix of cache density and open terrain, making it a solid farming location.
Spaceport Cache Locations

Around the outer areas of the Spaceport, players can find 60+ possible cache spawns. Key zones include: East Plains, Electrical Substation, La Chiesa, Fuel Processing, Water Towers, Alberi Hills.
The open layout of this map can make it easier to move quickly between spawn locations.
Buried City Cache Locations

The Buried City contains the fewest Hurricane caches, with only about 30 possible spawn spots. Important locations include: The Outskirts, Hospital, Buried Properties, Church Ruins, Abandoned Highway Camp, Grandioso Apartments, Warehouse.
Because of the lower spawn density, this map is generally less efficient for large farming runs.
Blue Gate Cache Locations

If your goal is maximum profit, Blue Gate is widely considered the best map for Hurricane farming. It features roughly 100 possible secret cache locations, including: Village, Reinforced Reception, Abandoned Housing Project, Ridgeline, Farmlands, Highway Collapse, Adorned Wreckage, The Forest.
The high number of spawn points makes it possible to collect a large amount of valuable loot in a single run.
Hurricane events follow a fixed 24-hour rotation, appearing once every hour on a different outdoor map. Each event lasts about one hour before shifting to the next location. To survive the harsh storm conditions and maximize your loot potential, it’s best to prepare the following equipment:
Adrenaline Shots – counter the heavy stamina drain caused by strong winds
Hatch Keys – provide safer extraction options during emergencies
Light Loadouts – allow faster movement while searching for caches
Many players also invest skill points into the One Raider’s Scraps skill tree. This increases the chance of gaining additional field-crafted items from Raider Caches, which can slightly boost overall loot efficiency.
Master the Hurricane cycle, plan efficient routes across each map, and you’ll quickly turn these dangerous storms into one of your most valuable loot runs.
