ARC Raiders Locked Gate Event Guide: How to Unlock the Blue Gate Underground
In ARC Raiders, the Locked Gate Event is one of the most intense map modifiers currently available. Taking place on The Blue Gate map, this special event requires the entire lobby to work together to locate hidden Security Codes and unlock a sealed underground facility packed with valuable loot.
Because the event only appears twice a day, players often rush to participate when it becomes available. If your squad wants to complete the event efficiently and reach the underground area before others, understanding how the process works is essential.
Event Basics
Here are the key details about the Locked Gate event:
Map: The Blue Gate (Event variant)
Time Limit: 40 minutes
Main Objective: Collect and activate 4 Security Codes
Special Reward: Bobcat Weapon Blueprint
Major Threats: Landmines and Rocketeer enemies
Completing the event unlocks access to a hidden underground zone that contains some of the best loot available during the match.
Step 1: Locate the Four Security Codes
Unlike standard mission items in ARC Raiders, the Security Codes do not spawn in fixed locations. Instead, they can appear inside loot containers within four designated zones across the map.
Another important detail: multiple copies of the same code can appear. That means even if someone else already delivered one, you might still find another.
Areas Where Security Codes Spawn
Ancient Fort
This location is filled with landmines, so movement needs to be careful. Check every crate and container in the area. You do not need to open the puzzle room here because codes can spawn in regular loot containers.
Raider’s Refuge
Search every container you come across. Players have reported finding codes even in sealed metal bins after breaching them.
Reinforced Reception
This is usually the easiest location. The reception building often contains a trashcan that regularly spawns a code.
Pilgrim’s Peak
This is the most dangerous of the four zones. Two Rocketeer enemies typically guard the area. Using Lure Grenades to distract them or eliminating them from long range can make the search much safer.
Remember that the entire lobby contributes to the event, so you don’t need to personally collect all four codes.
Step 2: Deliver Codes to the Gate Control Room
After securing a Security Code, the next step is heading to the Gate Control Room, located near the Warehouse Complex on top of the checkpoint gate structure. Inside the room you’ll find four wall consoles.
To activate a code:
Approach the console that matches the code you found.
Interact with it to upload the key
Repeat until all four consoles are activated.
However, be cautious. This room is widely known as the most dangerous PvP hotspot on the map. Many players wait here to ambush others who are bringing the codes. Checking corners, moving carefully, and coordinating with teammates can make a big difference.
If you’re struggling to find a code, another strategy is to wait near one of the underground entrances and let other players complete the activation.
Step 3: Enter the Underground Facility
Once the four consoles are activated, the Outer Gate blast doors will open. This unlocks the entrance to the underground section of The Blue Gate.
All players will typically rush toward the entrance immediately, so expect heavy combat.
Inside the underground facility, head toward the Security Wing and the Breach Room, where the loot tables are significantly improved.
The most valuable item tied to this event is the Bobcat Weapon Blueprint. It has a high chance of appearing inside containers in the underground area. Interestingly, some players have reported finding it elsewhere on the map during the event as well.
