How to Score Points in the Monopoly GO Trinket Trove Event
In Monopoly GO’s tournament events like Trinket Trove, your main way to earn points is by landing on railroad spaces. When your token lands on a railroad, you’ll trigger a minigame — either a Shutdown or a Bank Heist — and receive points based on the result.

Strategy Tips for Higher Scores
Use Higher Multipliers Near Railroads
Save your bigger dice roll multipliers (e.g., ×50, ×100, or higher) for times when you’re 5–8 spaces away from a railroad tile — that maximizes the chance your roll will land there and gives you greater points.
Play Smart with Shutdowns vs. Heists
Bank Heists generally give more points than Shutdowns, especially at higher multipliers, so they’re worth prioritizing if you’re aiming for the top leaderboard spots.
Don’t Burn Big Multipliers Too Early
Using big multipliers when you’re far from a railroad can waste huge potential. Try smaller multipliers (×1 or ×2) when you’re just rolling around the board, then increase as you approach a railroad.
Stack with Other Objectives
If there are milestone goals or other event objectives happening at the same time (like Solo Events or Banner Events), try to align your railroad hits with those to earn double rewards.
