The Flashpoint update for Arc Raiders introduced two exciting new weapons: the Dolabra and the Canto. Both come with unique mechanics and can significantly impact your performance in different map conditions. Here’s a complete guide on how to obtain them.

The Dolabra is particularly useful on the Close Scrutiny map condition, where Vaporizers roam the battlefield. While you could theoretically steal it from other raiders, the most reliable way to get the Dolabra is through its blueprint, allowing you to craft it whenever you’re ready.
The blueprint drops from Arc Assessor dropships—the large platforms that descend from the sky and emit a red beam upon landing. These assessors are heavily guarded, but each one contains three breachable containers, giving you multiple chances per spawn.
Although the blueprint isn’t guaranteed, it appears relatively frequently compared to older schematics, making it worth targeting.
To craft the Dolabra, you’ll need a Level 3 Gunsmith workstation and the following materials:
3 × Shredder Gyro (found on Shredders, sometimes on Dam Battlegrounds)
3 × Magnetic Accelerator (from Exodus materials in Stella Montis or by defeating Matriarchs and Queens)
2 × Vaporizer Regulator (common during Close Scrutiny map events)
The Dolabra’s standout feature is its adaptive firing pattern: hipfiring produces a wide cone of shots, while aiming down sights delivers a precise laser blast. This makes it perfect for tackling tough enemies, especially Vaporizers.

The Canto is the other new weapon added in Flashpoint, and its blueprint is linked to the Hurricane map condition. Unlike the Dolabra, it isn’t tied to a single map or event, and its spawn locations are more variable.
The most reliable source is First Wave Raider caches, which appear on any map (except Stella Montis) only when the Hurricane map condition is active. These caches are highly rewarding and can drop blueprints for the Canto.
Currently, there’s no fixed spawn point for the Canto, and it’s possible that the weapon or its blueprint may appear as part of future projects or events. High-tier loot areas highlighted with a red border can also yield the weapon, though success is not guaranteed.
Once you have the blueprint, crafting the Canto is straightforward at a Level 3 Gunsmith workstation. You’ll need:
2 × Advanced Mechanical Components (from advanced ARCs or crafted)
5 × Magnets (found as random loot)
3 × Medium Gun Parts (crafted at the workstation)
The Canto is cheaper and easier to craft than the Dolabra, but it has lower damage output. Upgrades can improve its viability, especially in PvP.
Both the Dolabra and the Canto offer new strategic options for Arc Raiders players. The Dolabra excels in high-threat scenarios like Close Scrutiny, while the Canto provides a lighter, more accessible option for regular raids. Focus on obtaining their blueprints to craft them at your convenience, and plan your resources carefully to maximize their potential.
