The Totenreich map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies introduces a dense and atmospheric environment filled with hidden secrets, challenging objectives, and a wide range of collectible Intel. As with previous Zombies maps, these collectibles — ranging from audio logs and documents to unique artifacts — are scattered across the map and often tied to quests, Easter eggs, or specific interactions. This guide provides a clear and structured overview to help you track down every piece efficiently.
Right after spawning, head to the right-hand side to find your first audio log resting on top of some barrels (hint: Barrels of Fun). Nearby, close to a destroyed wooden barrel, you’ll find another audio log (hint: Holy Buckets).
Before continuing further, it’s highly recommended to unlock Pack-a-Punch, as several Intel locations require power to be restored.
Once power is on, explore the right side of the map:
Along a path, check a wall for a document (Another Round)
Continue forward to find an audio log on a board (All Ashore)
Outside a bakery, look for a crate holding a document (Fresh Buns)
Near the market and a broken power line, find another document on a cart (Craft Services)
Move back to spawn and head toward the dry dock area:
A document sits on a barrel near a ship (Refueling)
Inside the war factory, find an audio log on a console (Control Issues)
Upstairs, throw an explosive into a vent to reveal a document (Can I Vent?)
In the core foundry, locate your first artifact (blueprint) inside a small building
Near a repaired power line, find another audio log by a radio (Mixed Signals)
At the Pack-a-Punch island, you can find a document on a ledge near a partially collapsed red building (hint: Over Packed). Nearby, a hidden lab contains two additional Intel items, but accessing it requires some preparation. First, obtain an ARC-XD, which is available for free each match, then use it to navigate through vents and destroy obstacles, ultimately blowing up the debris blocking the lab entrance. Once inside the lab, you’ll find an audio log on the left side and an artifact mounted on the wall.
Three Intel pieces are tied to the Yotan Star Wonder Weapon quest, which involves several key steps such as collecting items like chili chunks and chains, unlocking the burial grounds, solving a constellation puzzle, and following a ghost named Astrid through different areas of the map. These objectives must be completed in sequence to fully progress the quest and unlock the related collectibles.
During this process, you can find a document inside the lighthouse (hint: Don’t Stare), and another one must be collected from a window before picking up the Wonder Weapon (hint: Light Keeper). The Yotan Star itself also counts as an artifact. It’s important to collect these items at the right moments, as missing them may require restarting the entire quest.
A major portion of the Intel is tied to a hidden Easter egg that requires specific conditions to unlock. Players must be using Richtofen, have the Yotan Star Wonder Weapon built, equip Melee Macchiato, and reach at least Round 15. Once these requirements are met, head to the core foundry and interact with a special barrel to trigger a unique memory sequence.
Inside this sequence, you can collect three documents located along the opening corridor before entering the main area. Additionally, interacting with a radio and inputting specific codes will unlock multiple audio logs. Completing the entire sequence not only grants these Intel pieces but also reveals deeper story elements and additional rewards.
The last collectible comes from a side Easter egg:
Pick up a fish near the lighthouse island
Start a task and place the fish on a machine
Use a shock charge to activate it
Complete the task at high rarity
Collect the Fish Boat Artifact
The new Zombies map in Black Ops 7 is packed with hidden lore, clever puzzles, and rewarding exploration. Collecting all Intel pieces not only deepens the story but also challenges players to fully engage with every mechanic the map offers.
