Call of Duty is set to add plenty of content for Season 2 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone. This includes new multiplayer content, another round-based Zombies map, and the Avalon map with a Blackout-style battle royale experience for Warzone. Season 2 should arrive in early February, and here is everything announced so far.
Based on the number of days left in the Season 1 battle pass, Season 2 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone should arrive on or around February 5-6. Call of Duty's updates usually go live at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST across all platforms.
A new season of Call of Duty means a new battle pass, more weapons to unlock, new maps, and additional game modes. Season 1 included a major crossover event with the Fallout TV show, so it's possible a new IP event is planned for Season 2.
Black Ops 7 and Warzone still don't have Ranked Play, and while Call of Duty's competitive mode hasn't been confirmed for Season 2, it's very possible Ranked Play will arrive sometime during this new season.
Seasonal updates usually include new challenges, weapon tuning, and bug fixes as well.
We don't have specific details revealed for Season 2 of multiplayer yet. The Season 2 update will likely include more multiplayer maps, game modes, and new challenges.
Zombies

Treyarch has confirmed plenty of new Zombies content. At launch, players can expect the following:
Mars as a survival map
Cursed Survival mode on four maps at launch
Starting Room as a permanent game mode
Season 1's Sturmwolf 45 & Hawker HX added in the Mystery Box
Treyarch announced a new Zombies map for Season 2, but it will arrive with the Season 2 Reloaded update. The Season 2 teaser clip from Treyarch vaguely shows where the crew is headed next. The clip is zoomed in on a child's chalk drawing, and it depicts two characters playing fetch with a dog outside of a house.
Leakers suggest this upcoming Zombies map will be a Nuketown-themed map, and it might be a remake of Alpha Omega from Black Ops 4.
Endgame
Activision hasn't revealed specific details about Season 2 of Endgame, but the mode will likely receive new world events.
Season 1 featured Fallout-themed content, and world events featuring a Wraith warship, the robot from the Zombies Origins map, and the undead t-rex boss from Black Ops 6 Zombies.
Warzone
Season 2 is a highly anticipated season for Warzone. Season 2 is set to add the Avalon map to Warzone, which is the map also featured in Black Ops 7's Endgame. Avalon will include a new experience inspired by Black Ops 4's battle royale mode, Blackout.
2018's Blackout featured manual healing with health items, a backpack system, lootable attachments, and in-game operator quests. Activision hasn't provided any new details about this Warzone Blackout mode since it was originally announced at Call of Duty Next, but we should learn more information in the coming days and weeks.
For Resurgence mode, Rebirth Island is getting a slight makeover in Season 2. The map will include POI updates, visual changes, and other upgrades to help make it feel fresh again.
Many specific details about Season 2 are still under wraps, and new information is expected to be revealed soon. We’ll provide updates as soon as more official announcements are made, so stay tuned to get the latest news on Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 2.
