Destiny 2 has teamed up with Magic: The Gathering in a stunning crossover event that brings iconic MTG characters and themes to the world of Destiny. Fans of both franchises will now have the chance to don armor sets inspired by legendary Planeswalkers and collect a variety of exclusive Exotic cosmetics.
Each armor set in the collaboration is a nod to one of Magic's most iconic figures. Titans can suit up in the Flamecaller Set, a fiery design inspired by Chandra Nalaar, the pyromancer. Hunters get the Mindsculptor Set, designed after the renowned blue mage Jace Beleren, and named after one of the most powerful MTG cards ever printed. Warlocks, on the other hand, can wield the Death’s Majesty Set, reflecting the dark necromantic powers of Liliana Vess.
But the collaboration doesn’t end with just armor. A range of captivating cosmetics, each inspired by the legendary MTG universe, will be available for Guardians to equip. These include a Promised End Exotic Ghost Shell, inspired by the Eldrazi — one of the most terrifying and otherworldly creatures in Magic; Grand Praetor Exotic Ship, reflecting the biomechanical aesthetics of the Phyrexians; and the Voice of Hunter 7/6 Exotic Sparrow, which channels the ferocious energy of Phyrexia’s Vorinclex.
Additionally, there’s the Overrun Finisher, which unleashes a surge of primal green energy, inspired by Magic’s iconic Overrun spell. Players can also showcase their magic with two unique emotes: the Ignite Your Spark Exotic Emote, where swirling mana flows around you, and the Sol Ring Exotic Emote, channeling the power of one of MTG’s most legendary artifacts.
