Elden Ring: Nightreign – Forsaken Hollows DLC Highlights
Elden Ring: Nightreign is back with its latest DLC, The Forsaken Hollows, and it’s shaking things up. FromSoftware fans have plenty to dive into, from strategic gameplay to high-stakes combat.
The standout feature of this DLC is the two new playable characters: Scholar and Undertaker.
Scholar is all about battlefield awareness. With abilities focused on buffs, debuffs, and strategic support, Scholar rewards players who like to plan ahead and think tactically. In co-op, having a Scholar on your team can change the way you approach fights entirely.
Undertaker, on the other hand, is a melee powerhouse. Fast, agile, and built for high burst damage, this character gives players a more aggressive, hands-on combat experience. Timing, skill, and movement are key.

The DLC also introduces the Shifting Earth event, centered around the new Great Hollow. While some players note that the DLC’s content isn’t massive, there’s no denying the impact it has on gameplay. Between the strategic new roles, the evolving Great Hollow map, and challenging bosses, The Forsaken Hollows adds a lot of variety and replayability.
