The Elder Scrolls Online is evolving. On April 2, 2026, ESO will launch Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk, introducing a brand-new way to experience Tamriel. Goodbye, old expansions—hello, seasonal content with fresh rewards, challenges, and events that keep the world alive all year long.
A Fresh Way to Progress
Season Zero introduces Tamriel Tomes, ESO’s new seasonal progression system. Think of it like a battle pass: complete weekly and seasonal challenges to earn points, unlock rewards, and track your progress throughout the season. There’s a free track for everyone and an optional premium track for those chasing extra mounts, pets, and cosmetics.
Alongside it, the Gold Coast Bazaar gives players a new way to spend Trade Bars, the season currency replacing Event Tickets. From mounts to housing items, the Bazaar is a playground for collecting rewards and customizing your character.
Night Market: Adventure Awaits
One of the standout additions is the Night Market, a dedicated PvE event zone in Fargrave, running from April 29 to June 17, 2026. Players choose one of three factions, take on challenging encounters, and earn exclusive seasonal rewards—everything from unique mounts and furniture to Mythic-level gear. It’s a fresh twist on ESO’s exploration and combat, keeping players coming back for more.
Quality of Life Upgrades
Season Zero isn’t just about new events. ESO is also rolling out key quality-of-life improvements:
Free resets for skills and attributes
Faster mount training
Extended player housing furniture limits
Account-wide cosmetic slots
Improved trade and item management
Combat and class systems also receive attention. Dragonknights get visual and skill updates, and two-handed weapon lines see balance improvements. More adjustments will follow in future seasons.
Rewards for Every Adventurer
Season Zero rewards are abundant:
Mounts and pets
Housing items and decorations
Exclusive equipment and cosmetic styles
Titles, dyes, and monster set items
Whether you’re exploring dungeons, completing challenges, or diving into the Night Market, there’s always something new to discover.
