Simultaneously, the Daily Tournament (the side bar) offers a secondary stream. The key strategy here is "tiered participation": avoid over-rolling during the final hours of a dying tournament. Instead, save your dice for the reset, allowing you to snag the low-hanging Pickaxe rewards at the start of a new tournament cycle when the milestones are easier to reach.
