Palworld 1.0: Every New Pal Teased So Far
After a hugely successful early access period, Palworld is preparing for its biggest update yet. Developer Pocketpair has officially confirmed that the game will reach version 1.0 in 2026, marking the transition from early access into its full release.
The survival-monster-collecting title already includes 200+ unique Pals, but the upcoming launch will introduce a brand-new wave of creatures. While full gameplay details haven’t been revealed yet, the announcement showcased concept art of several previously unseen Pals that hint at new combat roles, mounts, and possibly even large-scale encounters.
Below is a breakdown of every newly teased Pal so far and what players might expect when the full version arrives.
Newly Teased Pals for Palworld 1.0
When announcing the upcoming 1.0 release, Pocketpair previewed six new Pal designs. These creatures are still in development, meaning their abilities and types could change before launch, but the early concepts already reveal interesting themes and potential gameplay roles.
Let’s explore what we know so far.
1. Fluffy Electric Dog
One of the most memorable reveals is a small lightning-charged dog with thick fluffy fur and an energetic appearance, somewhat resembling a tiny storm-powered companion.
Possible characteristics:
Likely Electric-type
Fast and agile in combat
Could act as a base power generator
Potentially strong in PvP skirmishes
Because electric Pals often counter Water types, this creature may become a useful early or mid-game combat option. Its compact design suggests a speed-focused fighting style, possibly involving shock bursts or quick ranged attacks.
2. Red Water Lily Dragon
Another standout design is a dragon-like Pal decorated with water lily petals and floral elements.
Visual highlights:
Deep red body
Elegant plant-themed design
Floral structures resembling floating lilies
This creature might belong to a Water + Dragon or Grass + Dragon hybrid category. Based on its majestic appearance, it could fill one of several high-tier roles:
Late-game mount
Powerful AoE elemental attacker
Alpha or boss-tier Pal
Dragon-type creatures often sit near the top of Palworld’s power hierarchy, so this Pal could become one of the most desirable additions in the 1.0 roster.
3. Spine-Blade Eel
This sleek creature resembles a long aquatic eel with a blade-like spine running across its back.
Possible combat style:
Water or Dark typing
Close-range melee specialist
High burst damage attacks
The blade running along its body hints at dash or slicing abilities, making it ideal for fast strikes and aggressive playstyles. If designed for PvP, it may function as an assassin-type Pal that excels at quickly eliminating targets.
4. Puffy Blue-and-White Bird
Not all new Pals look intimidating. One of the teased creatures is a round, fluffy bird with soft blue-and-white feathers.
Despite its cute appearance, it could still be very useful.

Flying Pals often serve both combat and mobility roles, so this bird may compete with current aerial mounts depending on its speed and stamina.
5. The Ghostly Twin Pals
Perhaps the most unusual reveal is a pair of tiny ghost-like creatures that appear to function together as a duo.
This concept opens up interesting gameplay possibilities.

6. The Giant Sky Whale
