Golden Blitz Event Preview: Trade Ollivander’s & Pin the Tail in Monopoly GO
Exciting news! The next Monopoly GO Golden Blitz event is launching in Monopoly GO on January 10, bringing a rare chance to trade some of the most sought-after golden stickers: “Ollivander’s” and “Pin the Tail.” This limited-time event lets players swap gold stickers that are normally locked and untradeable — but only while the Golden Blitz is live!
Why This Event Matters
Normally in Monopoly GO, gold stickers cannot be traded at all — they’re tied permanently to your account once you unlock them. But during the Golden Blitz, that rule is temporarily lifted for the two featured stickers!
This means:
You can send duplicates of “Ollivander’s” or “Pin the Tail” to other players.
You can request these stickers from friends if they have extras.
It’s a great chance to complete hard-to-finish sticker sets much faster!
Event Schedule & What to Expect
Golden Blitz is a 24-hour flash event that appears irregularly throughout a sticker season. During this brief window, two specific golden stickers become tradable with friends and other players — a rare opportunity that doesn’t happen during regular gameplay.
Keep an eye on your local time and log in as soon as the event begins on January 10 to make the most of your trading power!
How Sticker Trading Works
Here’s how to trade during Golden Blitz:
Open Monopoly GO and tap the Golden Blitz icon when the event is live.
You’ll see the two featured gold stickers — in this event, Ollivander’s and Pin the Tail.
To trade a sticker, simply pick one you have a duplicate of. You must have more than one copy to send it.
Choose a friend from your list or another player to send the sticker to.
Confirm and send. You can also ask friends for the sticker if they have it.
Trading Limits
During Golden Blitz, each player usually gets up to 5 golden trades — this is in addition to the regular five daily sticker trades you have outside the event. So you can make up to five swaps of just these featured gold cards — a significant boost to your trading opportunities!
Tips for Smarter Trading
Plan ahead by saving duplicates of high-value gold stickers — you never know which ones will be featured.
Coordinate with friends or community groups before the event starts.
Use social platforms or trading channels to find people who have the ones you want.
